Dramatic Reading of 'The Lonely Grave' - today groups will record their dramatic reading extract using Moviemaker software.  If time permits you can also begin completing the recording by insertion of sound effects.

Friday - Period 4 & Wednesday - Period 4

Wednesday - Period 2

Activities:

One Act Play - 'The Chameleon' continued.
1. Genre conventions identified
2. Mystery plot

Friday - Period 2

Activities:

1.  Plot revision of 'The Chameleon' following yesterday's reading.
2.  Post-reading activities

Wednesday - Period 4

Activities:

1. 'Dags' script extract (continued) - script examined for narrative elements and dramatic techniques.  Soliloquy, aside, stage directions, props.
2. Genre revised.  Conventions of science fiction and mystery genres examined in preparation for study of the one-act play 'The Chameleon'.

Wednesday - Period 2 & Friday - Period 4

Activities:

1.  Preliminary scriptwriting activity in pairs.  (To be submitted on the school network during the lesson.)
