Assessment Task - Speech presentations (continued).
So You Think You Can Dance 24/03/10 - Take a look at this dance from this weeks episode. It is a narrative about homelessness. The female is the homeless person who is contrasted to the man in the business outfit. Their dance in unison symbolises that they really are the same, and the end shows that the man can easily become homeless if something causes his to world change.

2. Elements of changing world - catalyst, impact, consequences, personal growth/knowledge.
3. Themes - homelessness and personal growth
4. Speech scaffold issued. Approaches to assessment task discussed.
Homework: Now that we have covered the changing world elements of the novel Slake's Limbo, you should be working on your speech presentation due in Week 9. Remember the task asks you to address characters and themes in particular when responding. Your notes in your English book should provide all the information you need to compose this speech.
