Script Writing (continued).

Ensure that your script has sufficiently developed your characters, is limited in the number of settings you use, employs stage directions effectively, and is satisfactorily resolved by its end.  When your draft is complete, have another student read it, obtain their feedback, proofread and edit.

When complete submit your file to the 'Submit' folder on the school network.

Wednesday - Period 3 & Thursday - Period 1

Last Friday's lesson lost to Walkathon.

Tuesday - Period 2

Review of 'The Lonely Grave' to be completed and submitted for marking.  When complete you are to plan and begin composing a short drama script of your own.

Wednesday - Period 4 & Thursday - Period 1

Review - using a review scaffold you will today draft a review of 'The Lonely Grave'.  On Thursday's lesson you will proofread and edit this draft before typing and submitting a published copy.  Remember to look at the report criteria for writing a review to gauge your level of response.

Wednesday - Period 2 & Friday - Period 4

Dramatic Reading recordings - 'The Lonely Grave' (continued).

Once you have recorded your audio, begin to organise the sound effects within the recording.  Save the entire recording and cut and paste a copy into the 'Submit' folder for marking.

This task must be completed by the end of Friday's lesson.

Thursday - Period 1 & Friday - Period 2

Dramatic Reading of 'The Lonely Grave' - today groups will record their dramatic reading extract using Moviemaker software.  If time permits you can also begin completing the recording by insertion of sound effects.

Friday - Period 4 & Wednesday - Period 4
